and we play the sport predominantly during the cold winter months (the colder the better)! If you like ping pong, you would love platform tennis, as use of the short-handled paddle is very similar. With platform tennis, however, you get to stand on the court and the ball can be played off the caged 12-foot screens. Totally fun!  And don’t let the cold temperatures scare you away — with the right light weight fleece garb you are warm and toasty within minutes of play. Since platform tennis is mostly a “doubles” game and the court is three-tenths of the size of a normal tennis court, play is faster and fun – even for beginners.
